If you are a non-resident and you own a property in Spain, you need to know that you have obligations with Non-resident income Tax.

1.- Name and surnames
2.- Date of birth
3.- Place of birth
4.- Current address in country of residence
5.- IBAN Account Number
6.- NIE (Non-residents fiscal identification number)
2.- TYPE OF RENT
2.1. Non-rented properties:
1.- Address of property
2.- Copy of last year IBI (Municipal Tax)
3.- Identification of all the owners of the property.
A presumed income will be generated in periods when the property has not been rented
The above-mentioned documents must be provided during the year after.
2.2 Rented properties:
1. -Address of property.
2.- Identification of all the owners of the property.
3. –Rent Incomes for each quarter, we recommend to use EXCEL software.
4. - Costs incurred during the quarter (supplies, taxes, maintenance, etc).
5.- Identification of the rental periods.
6.- Copy of IBI (Municipal Tax).
7.- Notice: In periods when property hasn’t being rented, a presumed income (see above) will accrue.
The above-mentioned documents must be provided in the following periods:
First quarter: 1st to 10th April.
Second quarter: 1st to 10th July.
Third quarter: 1st to 10th October.
Fourth quarter: 1st to 10th January.
